Maritere "Mari" Bellas: Strategic Partner, Hispanic Marketing

Mari is a 20 plus-year marketing and public relations veteran who specializes in multi-ethnic/multi-cultural marketing.  As a strategic partner, she is primarily responsible for developing programs that reach the Hispanic/Latino community.  She is 100% bilingual and bicultural.

For 12 years, Mari wrote a weekly column on parenting and family issues for La Opinión newspaper in Los Angeles. She was also a contributing editor for Healthy Kids en Español. 

During the course of her PR career, Mari has served as an account executive for Fleishman-Hillard and in a senior communications position for Children Now. Additionally, she established the first ever public relations department for La Opinión and coordinated and implemented all activities for the newspaper’s 60th anniversary celebration.

Mari holds a Master of Arts degree in Communications/Journalism from Pepperdine University, a Bachelor of Arts degree in Languages from Universidad de Puerto Rico, and an Associate of Arts degree in French from the American College of Switzerland.
